I am interested in anything that is deep true simple quiet contemplative and reflective. I am also drawn to things that are introspective self examining and inward looking. These are the qualities I find important my work to reflect.

 My making process helps to make these qualities apparent in my work. I use coiled slabs and develop my own glazes to achieve the desired surface quality  and I use the firing process to realize the final shape of the pieces.

     Originally I was trained in fashion and textiles- in the past years I was part of a small team creating costumes for various television, film and theatre productions. To pursue my love of ceramics I completed the Diploma in Fine and Applied Art Ceramics  course at City Lit in 2013.

    I live and work in London and my work can be found in various private collections.
