I think of my hand-built forms as an attempt to find an alternative to conventional portraiture.

Everybody is made up of numerous personalities which can be just as illustrative of an individual as one physical appearance. My pieces focus on how a person can be portrayed by inner characters an inner self. This kind of depiction can be rather complex as sometimes we have to look very carefully and it needs a lot of effort to see through and between the many different layers of personalities in order to capture the real person as this can be concealed and hidden behind various other characters. In my pieces I aim to show that searching and looking for the true real being.
